These operating instructions are part of
the product. They contain important
information about the safety, use and
disposal of the device. Familiarise
yourself with all the operating instructions
and safety information before using this
product. Only use the product as

Intended use
These headphones are a consumer
electronics device, intended for playing
music. They can also be used as a
headset with a smartphone. They may
only be connected to audio devices that
have a 3.5 mm jack socket for
headphones. They may only be used for
private purposes and are not for industrial
or commercial use. The headphones
should also not be used in tropical
climates. The manufacturer will not be
liable for any damage or faults arising as
a result of unauthorised modification of
the headphones. Please observe the
national regulations and/or laws of the
country in which the headphones are
used.

Make sure that the cable is not bent,

Even though the device is designed to
allow you to hear ambient noise, set the
maximum volume so that you can still
hear what’s going on around you. Make
sure unusual ambient noise can be heard.
Do not use the device in dangerous
situations, for example when driving,
working with machinery or in other
situations that require your full
concentration. Sound through the
headphones may impair your
concentration or make you unaware of
what’s happening around you.
Initial use
Using the headphones
WARNING! So that you
do not damage your
hearing, minimise the
volume on the playback
device before you connect
the headphones. You can
then adjust the volume to the
required level.
You can use the headphones with any
audio device that has a 3.5 mm jack
socket for headphones.Plug the 3.5 mm
jack (3) into the corresponding socket on
your playback device. Set the volume to
the required level on the playback device.
Wear the earbud marked ‘L’ in your left
ear and the earbud marked ‘R’ in your
right ear.
Carefully push one of the earbuds into
your ear canal. To make this easier, you
can straighten the ear canal slightly by
pulling your ear gently up and down. Do
the same with the second earbud.
The microphone
The microphone integrated in the cable
allows you to communicate conveniently
when you are using the headphones as a
headset or with a hands-free kit.
Multifunction button on the
microphone
A multifunction button (5) is located on
the microphone (4).
Depending on the operating mode and
the audio source used, different actions
can be performed by pressing the
multifunction button (5), for example:
Short press during audio playback:
Pause/start playback.
Two presses in quick succession during
audio playback:
Select next track.
Short press when using as a headset/with
hands-free kit:
Accept call.
With a call in progress, a short press
activates or deactivates mute mode
(microphone off).
